It’s perfectly normal to feel stagnant at your job. Everyone has had that moment where they ask themselves, is this it? Am I going to be doing this over and over again for the rest of my life? Where do I go from here? You’re stuck! Maybe you feel trapped in your role at work but know that you can do more. That you can do better and excel in something bigger – something more!
I am a huge believer in education. I am what I call a “learn to work” person. I gain confidence in my understanding through learning about things then take that new knowledge and use it to sparkle and wow in my work place. I believe that if you give someone the tools to be successful that the potential is unlimited. This is why I am doing my MBA.
An MBA is a Masters of Business Administration – a long title for a Master’s in Business or a Master’s in Management. Depending on the school or program, it can take anywhere from one to three years, can be full or part time, can be done in classrooms or remotely, can be specialized in a field or be generally focused — yet they all teach you how to be successful in the corporate world and aid you into moving your career to the next level.
I am getting my MBA in order to increase my knowledge, grow my industry awareness and enhance my corporate skills so that I may grow in my career goals of consulting.
In this blog, I will dive into the intricacies involved with preparing and applying to MBA programs. I will discuss the ever dreaded GMAT exam – how to study and how to achieve over that 700 goal line. Essay writing, finding the write references, resume guidelines and much more will soon be found here.
